I know it says dew trap, I hadn't change the name yet in that photo.
User f7ec30
Cool, help me with my beehive when you get the chance. I am trying to make it buzz with flies, but we are going to pretend they are bees. I got her working and producing honey. XD

If you need anything else that I can help you with, you can contact me in private or here. I still don't know much about the game, but I'm a programmer and that makes it a little easier.
User f7ec30
Not at all happy to help any time.
User 7c29e5
No problem, thank you very much
User f7ec30
No I just random gen maps, nothing about prefabs or anything. Oh you would need to put it in appdata under windows, not sure with linux. Hit windows+R and type this in %appdata%\7DaysToDie. Then put it in saves directory. This is what I assume anyway. I would assume you can put it in any directory the editor wants, it should tell you. If you are using a third party editor, thats beyond my scope, I haven't a clue sorry.

I tried to copy only the folder in Worlds, but I still couldn't do it
User 7c29e5
For example, which folders should I copy from my VPS, to my computer, so that I can edit them in the game tool
User 7c29e5
Just one more question, do you know anything about map editing?
User 7c29e5
I understand, thank you very much for the tips

Appearently funpimps broke the chunk reset feature so just set it to -1 for now until 2.0
User f7ec30
My chunk reset is set to -1 under the advisement of some people in the community, its in the serverconfig.xml, that is the only thing I use for chunk resetting other than manually resetting a chunk which I never do since its wonky.

hmm nice

Yes its telnet which is the console. I have a port for it but its all internal, I'm not sure why they do it that way. The trouble is I am a retard when it comes to chronjobs so being able to pick the time and dates or atleast type in the time and dates is very handy to me. I don't use cpm for anything other than basic commands and pvp zones. I tell the players I will reward them with cssm money for ratting out other players if they misbehave. So the players and the bot all police themselves usually.
User 7c29e5
And another thing, do you use the reset zones that CPM offers? If so, I would like to know how often it would be interesting to run the reset command.
User 7c29e5
But do you run commands in the console?
User f7ec30
I'm not sure, it just gets rid of "garbage" sprites that get stuck I assume, don't really know but she likes it.
User 7c29e5
what is your garbage collector?
User 7c29e5
so nice @User 23166689
User f7ec30
its in greenwhich time whatever that is, I think UTC-0 or whatever.
User f7ec30
I use a timer attached to telnet, everyone tells me not to use it, but we rent and it comes with the interface. I would like it if cssm had something like it. Here are my scheduled routines.

I'm creating another strategy, but maybe you know something better.
User 7c29e5
Good morning everyone, could someone answer a question for me? How do you have a routine to restart the server from time to time? I tried using the "shutdownba" command from servertools that checks for blood moons, but the amp can't start the server afterwards, it stays in the state: Unable to run

There are API docs available on your gameserver dashboard on the path
/files/rapidoc.html. Takaro also has an extensive API https://api.takaro.io/api.htmlMap editing I can't answer exactly except that I know there are a bunch of mapping tools available if you search with google
User 7c29e5
Good morning everyone! Does anyone know if the game has an API? And another thing, is it possible for me to edit a map that is on a VPS?

I'll make a tutorial on Youtube and then share it here if you allow it
User 7c29e5
I finally managed to install CSMM self host, yesterday I spent 12 hours straight and gave up, but today I managed it haha
User 7c29e5
thanks for the feedback
User f7ec30
I would use that if you did that, sounds good to me.
User 7c29e5
I'm thinking about doing this on my server, having an installer that the player downloads and in 2-3 clicks, installs the mods. And also post a scan of the website Virus Total, to show that the file is clean
User 7c29e5
hmm
User 6ceaf4
cause players are lazy 🙂
User f7ec30
Server side mods require no download, convience mostly.
User 7c29e5
@User 59898394 Why do you think there are no servers that have client-side mods? The server owner has a website and provides an installer with the server's mods.
In my opinion, this would make the game much better with new features, but I haven't seen anyone doing it yet.
User 7c29e5
nice
User 6ceaf4
only for player tracking, and no
User 7c29e5
Do you use CSMM on your servers? If so, with selfhost?
User 7c29e5
cool
User 6ceaf4
Yes, but it is a wip
User 7c29e5
Is Takaro an evolution of CSMM?
User 7c29e5
There are 26882 players online on 479 servers

Is Tibia still a thing? amazing
User 7c29e5
In Tibia I developed systems that the community still uses today, 18 years later
User 7c29e5
I want to make some tutorials on CSMM's YouTube as well, as there are no tutorials teaching how to set up the selfhost.
User 7c29e5
Yes, definitely. I'm planning to use self-host, I've already done all the configuration and I'm modifying the CSMM project to my language, probably I'll internationalize it to other languages to share with the community.
User 6ceaf4
yeah, but unless you self host csmm, you cant make as much with it
User 7c29e5
And servertools in C#
