I think CSMM is made in Javascript too
User 6ceaf4
javascript is what Takaro modules are made of

I started setting up servers for a game called Tibia in 2007 in the LUA language, then I set up servers for MuOnline, Ragnarok, among other games...
User 7c29e5
But I have worked with many languages like PHP, Lua, C#, Python, C++
User 7c29e5
Mainly javascript
User 7c29e5
I'm currently trying to figure out how to make changes to the game's UI, like this one for example

what language do you code ?
User 7c29e5
At the moment I have installed CSMM, CPM, ServerTools, some mods...
User 7c29e5
Do you have any recommendations for mods or additional tools that would be interesting for me to put on my server?
User 7c29e5

Thank you very much for the information, I started playing 7d2d this week and was very poorly received on other game tool discords, here on this server I am very happy with the community and how well you treat people.
User 7c29e5
Ah nice
User 7c29e5
right

Pterodactyl seems interesting, it uses more modern technologies like React and GO, I'm a programmer and I work with these technologies. But was there any reason why you went for it instead of AMP?
User 6ceaf4
Yeah, that's why it is popular there, they use to fill their servers with a lot of players
User 7c29e5
Chinese, sorry.
User 6ceaf4
Are you sure the servers you are seeing are not chinese?
I use Pterodactyl
I use Pterodactyl
User 7c29e5
I see, their prices are really scary, but do their servers have more than 30 players? Usually in Japan, the servers have more than 60.
I'm using AMP to manage my server, do you use any tools?
User 6ceaf4
No idea, I run a lot of servers, so their pricing makes it not interesting to me
User 7c29e5
@User 59898394 Good morning! Naiwazi is a tool that makes servers lighter, but I see that it is used more on Japanese servers, or am I wrong? Why aren't they used as much in other regions?

When a player enters or exits an advanced claim, there is an enter/exit tooltip that pops up. For example, "You are entering a reset zone" and "You are leaving a reset zone". This buff is telling you that you have just exited a PVE zone. It should dissappear pretty fast.
I'm sure some more knowedgeable people can expand upon this 🙂

Yeah they always do -.- Their instance is broken, they're reselling CSMM, they need to fix it
User 9414cb

User bddf69
Sorry but nothing more I can do than that, it's their instance that's broken and I don't have access :/
User bddf69
They have their CSMM mis configured and the Discord sync doesn't work

I have had a similar issue recently, not positive it's related to settime (but I was using that frequently in testing recently). The answer was that the daylight length in my serverconfig.xml was mysteriously changed

settime is very buggy! I don't remember the details anymore, but it can mess up a lot of the internal game timers :( Like the sun but also trader hours or crop growth
I dunno if there's a fix for it
User fbe0b4
Someone ever had the issue, when using settime the entire "sun" is bugged? It's 00:30 server time and the sun is in the sky

The joy of many Englishes! Left work yesterday after demonstrating to my developer colleague how his hotfix (deactivating something if the user didn't have a licence) wasn't working. Got in just now. "Fixed it! Turns out that in some places we had used the word 'licence' and in others, 'license'" 😄
User 69dd72
Ja but still you don't take extra jobs . If I go to the competition they terminate you immediately RIP ;D
User a827fb
Thanks. The worst time is the period between when you know you got the job and when you actually hand in your resignation. It's been 2.5 weeks since I got the verbal offer and the slow process of HR bureaucracy began. My one confidante at work knows but I've been wanting to share it with a couple of other people but haven't risked it. The second worst time is about to begin. Unlike a big company, who would normally immediately let go of an IT person because they're a security risk, they can't let go of me and I'm going to have to spend the next 4 weeks documenting my job for the next person!
