Probably, it is all command line.
I'm a bit rusty.
User 602ca8
can't you see the CSMM logs?
User 23fa64
I have tried updating CSMM, but it says it's already up to date.
User 23fa64
What is weird also is that after one of the first times the power went out, before the ip address changed, my website would come up, but Hughdroid wouldn't.
User 602ca8
It's definitely port forwarding
User 23fa64
It's routed through apache.
User 602ca8
this works
User 602ca8
User 602ca8
never seen this
User 602ca8
i really cannot understand how it's giving the correct ip but it doesn't work
User 602ca8
Did you buy the hostname and linked it to your ip?
User 23fa64
The local ip.
User 23fa64
I usually set the static ip on the machine.
User 602ca8
If you didn't do LAN static ip from your router to your devices it could have changed the LAN ip address which would make your port fowarding useless
User 23fa64
I don't remember off hand.
It's normal as far as I remember.
User 602ca8
don't know how your setup is
User 602ca8
so it should adjust to the new ip automatically
User 602ca8
But port fowarding should be set up with lan ip
User 23fa64
I don't have access to that from where I am.
User 602ca8
ye i think so as well
User 23fa64
Oh, could be my port forwarding.
User 602ca8
it's weird that your hostname is connected to the correct ip but not working
User 23fa64
Pretty sure I didn't change it.
User 23fa64
It didn't.
I will have to double check which port I'm using.
User 602ca8
but csmm should work if you use the ip address
User 23fa64
That's not Hughdroid though.
User 602ca8
So the problem is with your hostname
User 602ca8
User 23fa64
Sure
User 23fa64
Oh, that way.
User 602ca8
can i post your ip address?
User 23fa64
Does it come up for you?
It still shows unavailable to me.
User 602ca8
your hostname is connected to the new ip address
User 602ca8
it seems you fixed it
User 602ca8
it could be that the hostname has not adjusted to the new ip address
User 23fa64
Haven't, that's a good idea.
User 602ca8
have you tried using the ip address instead of the hostname?
User 23fa64
It is.
User 602ca8
Your servers are up with a different ip address? and is csmm hosted on the same server?
User 000225
Ah
User 000225
Or do you self csmm
User 23fa64
It's my instance.
User 000225
I mean on the csmm site itself, unless that's a link to it with a different path lol
User 23fa64
Love to get to that point.

Basic server settings, insert new public ip on csmm
User 23fa64
My port hasn't changed.
Did you change the host name to scrub you ip?
User 602ca8
this is what i have in the .env
User 23fa64
I have run into a myriad of issues at my house.
- We lost power multiple times
- Our IP address changed because of the power outage.
My servers are up, my website is up, but my CSMM instance won't come up.
I don't remember from the CSMM install, but do I need to change the ip address somewhere in there?
I have already fixed my IP in the DNS records.
I get the Apache screen saying service unavailable.

I'm not sure where to go from here.
Oh, and I am 2000 miles away and can only remote in.

i had the bot all set and running then i had to do a fresh install of the WHOLE of my server due to corruption. so could that be the cause? if so i could just delete that bot and then create a new one, or would that cause issues within itself?
