Re-look at your proxy settings, I've had that happen, it was after proxy changes, but I don't remember if it was the discord API redirect url that needed updating, or the proxy routing that caused my loop... But it was somewhere in there, and since you just recently did proxy changes, is guess it will be similar for you too

has anyone had this issue before? its happened twice in one day the only thing connected to it is csmm

What error do you see exactly? The DO method automatically sets up the nginx config for you, you shouldnt need to make changes

the subdomain is path is pointing to the csmm/7-days-to-die-server-manager i done this via digitalocean ngixn config service not sure what is going on

im having issues with nginx and csmm anyone be able to help?

Are you self hosting CSMM?

A server with this IP and webport is already registered with CSMM. You cannot add the same server twice

Is it possible for two people to have the csmm server panel? and how to do this?

Ignore the above, it has now suddenly started working. Will continue to monitor and see if I can find what caused the issue

Hey guys, woke up this morning to my CSMM not being able to connect to my server anymore, not too sure what has changed. Was there an update recently or something? Self hosted but can't see any errors. CSMM reports not being able to send a get request. I have changed nothing on the server, nor on the host machine

I did actually, when i set a password it pissed everything off and was fine soon as i took the password out

Well I don't set a password on Redis and just make sure it's only available on the local machine. Less issues that way 🙈

Have you had issues with it in the past even though you provided the password in the .env?

Personally, I'd recommend not using a password on Redis and not exposing the port for it at all (just bind it to 127.0.0.1)

That's only half a stack trace but I'm pretty sure it means you tried connecting to a Redis instance without a password while the redis instance is configured to use a password

Need some help on this error after just finishing the setup and running CSMM for the first time i get this message and I am very new to Linux so I am sure I missed/messed something up during the setup, any help would greatly be appreciated.

So, I post in here not too long ago about steam not allowing me to login to csmm for some unknown reason. I come back to say that I got it working again. All I had to do is just sign out of steam from the browser, and sign in again in the browser. After I did that and tried again, worked like a charm

so if you go to xyz.mydomain.net it goes back to my server through the duckdns url

i have a container that links to a free duckdns.org url, then that is linked to xyz.mydoman.net

so all my apps that I have on my server that face the public are reversed proxied.

you use reverse proxy so that you don't need open ports in your firewall

So question I have that might help me out, is why the reverse proxy?

self host is running on PI, i switched from rasbian to ubuntu server

so did you get it on the pi or did you just create a vm?
