o shit it worked
User 2a67ec
What folder is that in?
User bddf69
I mean the Redis database that's running on your install
User 2a67ec
Do you mean the .../7-days-to-die-server-manager/node_modules/redis folder?

Did you regenerate the webtoken too?
User 602ca8
it can find the server but no commands are working
User 2a67ec
Change web port to 8080 and save, then reload.
User 2a67ec
The Discord chatbridge? Yes, it's configured and doesn't stop responding.
User 2a67ec
Yes but CSMM has to ne configured to access your server. The port it uses to talk to your server has changed from 8082 to 8080.
User 602ca8
yes it's 8082
User 602ca8
i already had csmm
User 2a67ec
No, in the CSMM web interface, under Settings/Basic server settings
User 602ca8
?
User 602ca8
User 602ca8

User 2a67ec
Did you change the port to 8080 from 8082?
User aee541
No content
User 602ca8
csmm not connecting anymore
User 602ca8
i did the update
User 602ca8
Need help !
User bddf69
You might want to try deleting the data in Redis. That's cache data, it's safe to delete and will rebuild itself.
User bddf69
Do you have chatbridge enabled? Does that stop working after a certain time too?
User 2a67ec
Ok, more testing, it seems to be only repeating commands that don't work. If I execute a new command CSMM will respond, but reusing a command I've already used since the last prefix reset there's no response.
User 2a67ec
Alright, been testing with commands other than teleports and it still does it after about a minute of resetting the command prefix... No matter which command is used. Changing the command prefix makes it work again, for about a minute. That's so weird! Still no error in the logs.
User 374c5d
teleports are stored in the csmm.db iirc
User 2a67ec
So I can confirm that it's using a teleport name that existed in A20 that makes CSMM stip responding to commands. That wasn't the case under A21, only since it's been updated to A21.1. Maybe something changed in Allocs and how teleports are stored? I deleted the old teleports that showed up when I clicked teleport on my user but it's still bugging out CSMM if I use the same yeleport name. Not much of an issue now that I know (I can just use different teleport names and my other users weren't around in A20) but still a weird bug!
User 602ca8
updates are good.. it's when they stop that shit happens xD
User 23fa64
Yip.
User 602ca8
Thats done already.. but now i'm viewing your discord and i see that everything needs update xD
User bddf69
The saved teleports are different from player teleports. All data comes from the SQL database
User 602ca8
to stable you mean?
User 23fa64
And the server.
User 602ca8
So basically cpm, csmm and allocs all need to be updated
User 2a67ec
If I click another user profile that didn't exist in A20, it shows their teleport targets on their profile but if I click the teleport button, it doesn't show any teleport targets. Where are those pulled from?
User 2a67ec
I think I have isolated the trigger, whenever I issue the command to teleport home (same teleport name as I had in A20) CSMM stops responding to commands. I think it gets confused because it seems to have two different databases with teleport names for the same player, even after deleting the player profile.
User 602ca8
ok 😛 thanks
User bddf69
Hmm sorry but without more details it's not really possible for me to troubleshoot.. Since you're self hosting there could be a lot of things going on that I don't know about.
I'll monitor the situation and if more reports come in from the hosted instances, I'll take a closer look (because then I'll have data to look at)
User 2a67ec
Another weird thing is that the llayer profile lists all teleport for the player but if I click on "teleport" it shows me different teleports, from back in A20 (I've since deleted all player profiles)
User 2a67ec
Scratch that, stopped working...
User bddf69
Huh, weird!
User 2a67ec
I think it just didn't like that I was using $ as a command prefix, changing that to # seems to work!
User 2a67ec
Got the welcome message from the bot but commands don't work... Weird!
User 2a67ec
Reloading client to see if that fixes it, last time I reloaded CSMM the client was already logged on.
User 2a67ec
None...
