Hey everyone, I'm aware of the login issues in CSMM. Unfortunately, it appears to be an issue on Steams side :( Their OpenID server went down during maintenance and hasn't come back yet...
If you are still logged in to CSMM, do not logout from CSMM as you wont be able to login again.

Hi @everyone
For all the lucky ones who got the streamer weekend access (😉) I just merged support for 7d2d V1.
When running V1:
- Please make sure you have the latest version of Allocs' fixes.
- The new API uses the official web port, and not the +2 that old Allocs uses.
- The webtoken is not a separate files anymore, it gets added to your serveradmins.xml file.
Same as for any major update: there could be bugs! If you run into issues please let me know.

Hi everyone, there's a new version of allocs fixes available for A21.1.
This update moves some of the legacy stuff into the new vanilla mod framework. This means if you update your allocs version:
- You need to use the 'normal' web dashboard port (this is 2 lower than the one you currently use for CSMM)
- Webtokens are now managed via

Hello everyone!
I have some important and exciting news to share with you all
CSMM will be entering maintenance mode. Now, don't panic! 😱 CSMM is not going anywhere - I will still ensure it's running smoothly and it will continue to be there for you. However, the winds of change have started to blow and we've set our sails towards a new and exciting destination - introducing Takaro! 🎆🎆
But what is Takaro? I hear you asking. Takaro is a new project, built with the same passion and dedication I've poured into CSMM, but with a fresh perspective and even bigger ambitions. It will support more than just 7 Days to die (we will launch with support for 7D2D, Rust and Minecraft), it features a completely revamped (and much more powerful!) custom commands/hooks system and a completely redesigned UI.
We have launched the Takaro landing page at https://takaro.io/ - it's still a baby, but we're growing it into something truly special. You can join the waitlist right now and be among the first to witness its evolution!

Hi everyone, small update :)

CPM version detection was broken, this should be fixed now (this caused $claim to drop items on the floor instead of in inventory for example)

A PSA, to create webtokens for CSMM you now use the
command instead of justwebtokens_legacywebtokens -
An issue I've seen pop up a few times now is that people updated to experimental but hadn't fully updated Allocs yet. This caused issues with player data, resulting in corrupted player profiles in CSMM. In the attached image, I've marked 'bad' profiles in red and 'good' profiles in green. (Bad profiles have a EOS ID in the steamID column) If you have issues with hooks/commands, check if there is a corrupted profile for the player and delete the 'bad' one

Allocs V24_28_41 should work with A21 experimental. I haven't tested everything 100% yet but most functionality seems fine. If you run into any weirdness, please let me know 😄
If you have issues with commands not working, or some player-related functionality not working, please try deleting the Allocs data from your saves folder

CSMM v2.1.0 released
This release contains a BIG overhaul of the variables page on the playground. A HUGE thank you to @User 37515946 for making that happen! You can now sort, filter and edit variables inside the table. You can lock variables to prevent their deletion. There's also a new helper

Hi all, it's been a while since I created a new release :). A lot has changed since last time but I never felt the need to create new releases and have been following a rolling release schedule. A lot of these changes have been live for a long time.
I have to create a version now though, because the minimum nodejs version to run CSMM is now 16.6. This is only for self-hosters, people who use the hosted instances will not be affected
If you installed CSMM using the official Docker container, this will not be an issue as the Docker container was already updated to a newer nodejs version. However, if you installed CSMM directly on your host you might need to upgrade you node install.

CSMM follows Semantic Versioning (https://semver.org/) which means that for breaking changes, a major number is incremented. Hence, v2.0.0 is released!

Hey all, I had to disable the US Discord bot for a while to fix issues with it. Turned out to be a much larger job than I originally expected, I ended up refactoring (almost) every Discord-related feature in CSMM.
I'll be pushing this update to the staging instance and will let it run overnight. If there's no crazy issues, I will push it to production tomorrow (and re-enable the US Discord bot).

Hey everyone
I've been working on adding persistent variables to CSMM. This is a mechanism to store and retrieve data from inside hooks/custom commands/... . For instance, you can trigger hook1 which stores some data and then some time later, hook2 triggers which can retrieve the data stored previously. This will open up a lot of new possibilities for the CSMM custom command system
Supports 3 new helpers atm:

This also includes the new playground web app I've been showing screenshots about. You can find a link to it on the settings page, under experiments. The new playground has many improvements:
- Same template rendering logic as the real system -> more consistent results
- Viewer for active variables
- Viewer for past executions (to make debugging easier)
I've deployed it on a new instance for beta testing. You can find it here: https://persistent-variables.csmm.app.
CSMM self hosters can use branch (docker tags built for this already)
persistent-variables. I would not advise updating your production CSMM to this branch as it will do database changes (which might change as the beta goes on)Please feel free to add your test server to that instance and play around with it 😄 If you have any feedback, I'm all ears

Earlier today, there was a ROA (Route Origin Authorization) issue. This subnet's netblock owner made improper changes and we are in the process of reversing them. This should now be resolved but we believed this caused your server to go down and to also have trouble coming up, experiencing a kernel panic because of this situation until it was resolved.

Hey everyone, Discord issue on EU should be fixed now! I'm looking at the logs but everything seems to be working again now!

I'm still investigating why Discord doesn't let the bot log in right now but CSMM should work again except for any Discord-related functionality

The Discord issue was affecting the worker processor queues which means that hooks and ingame commands were not being executed
I've temporarily disabled the EU discord bot and commands/hooks are going through now

Hey all, I pushed a small fix to the master branch to handle an error better when accessing the dashboard for a server that is offline/unconnectable. The hosted instances have this live now but I'm not going to make a new version for this small change.. 😄

Hey everyone,
A20 is almost here! If you are one of the few that already has access to the new version you might notice CSMM isn't working :)
I will be working on A20 compatibility this weekend and I will push those changes to the staging server (https://staging.csmm.app) as I make them. If you'd like to use CSMM in the meantime, you can register your A20 servers there. :) Self hosters will be able to use the development branch from git (or the Docker image, tagged with the same name)
A20 breaks a lot of stuff in CSMM, so please bear with me as I fix everything!

Hey everyone, everyone on the US instance got a fun message last night :)
It seems like the Discord bot for US got disconnected a few minutes before the donor check happened. This means everyone was temporarily a 'free' user. I'm not sure what the root cause is yet, but atm I'm looking at DNS as the culprit. It looks like DNS queries starting taking very,very long.
In any case, you should not get a message again tomorrow!

If you don't know what Hacktoberfest is, it's a yearly event to promote open source contributions. If you make 3 contributions in October, you get a free t shirt! Or you can plant a tree too, if that's more your jam.
Just like last year, CSMM is a participating project. I've labeled a bunch of issues that are easy to get started with and added some comments with code pointers.
