Thanks lol, i Google did help, its all running butter smooth now, got a few issues adding the server, I'm running A21 so I've put the latest allocs release alongside the A21 integrated webserver, it doesn't seem to be causing any conflics, but webpermissions.xml seems to be non exsistant

Yes: .env changes require a restart to apply.

Depending on how you installed CSMM, the way to restart it properly is different but I'm sure Goolge/ChatGPT has answers for that 😄

roger, well reference above comment about being a novice/muppet, I added my steamID to the admin line in the config, but forgot to uncomment, as such the web interface isn't seeing me as an admin, schoolboy error I know, do I need to (gracefully) stop csmm and restart it for it to look at the config again now I've deleted one hash

Nah, it's probably not even your fault really 😄 You were testing stuff with your CSMM install and for some reason it didn't gracefully exit. So then it was still running taking up that port but wasn't showing up anymore

Hi Catalysm, thanks for the quick response, I managed to solve it a different route (I turned the machine off and on again - IT crowd style) 😐

You can control the port either with the env variable (https://github.com/CatalysmsServerManager/7-days-to-die-server-manager/blob/master/.env.example.docker#L3) or with docker, using the docker port forwarding options 😄

If you are on linux, you can use

sudo ss -tlpn

to get a list of everything running that has a port open

You're running CSMM on a certain port (the default is 1337) but something else is already running on that port

The give option on the user profile page the items drop on the ground and don’t go into inventory. This is on A21 server.

Install CPM and update CSMM. A21 broke how CSMM detects the CPM version so it never uses those commands
